Eric Anderson

Eric has three decades of leadership success in a variety of businesses including Optical, Accessories and Consumer Packaged Goods, in both domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Acuity, Eric served as Executive Vice President – Fossil Group, leading their $3 Billion Global Licensed Watch and Jewelry business. In this capacity, he was accountable for all business development, licensing, marketing, product design and product development. Prior to that, Eric spent 18 years at the Luxottica Group in key leadership positions including the President of LensCrafters North America where he had full P&L responsibility for the world’s leading Optical retail chain with 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Under his collaborative leadership, Eric transformed their business strategy, customer experience and management team philosophy resulting in significant growth in associate engagement, customer satisfaction and comp store sales. Additionally, while at Luxottica, Eric was Chief Executive of GMO Opticas based in Santiago, Chile, integrating 500 stores in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Columbia into Luxottica. He also had successful leadership roles as the General Manager of Target Optical, VP at Pearle Vision, VP at Sunglass Hut and helped lead the integration of Ray Ban into Luxottica. Prior to Luxottica, Eric spent nearly a decade in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble and Kao.   Eric is highly respected within the industry and well-known for his results-oriented leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for developing talent.

Satish Dave

Satish brings with him highly impressive and diverse experience across several relevant industries. He has held key senior technology and operations leadership roles at Vision Source, MedSolutions, Coventry Healthcare, and General Electric and has focused on driving total enterprise performance through the successful deployment and utilization of technology solutions. While leading Information Technology at MedSolutions, Satish helped grow the company’s top line sales from $240 million to $910 million while also delivering $40 million in annualized operational cost reductions. Prior to joining Acuity, Satish was the Chief Information Officer for Vision Source and led efforts to create business value through the innovative application of technology. This initiative resulted in the doubling of the company’s market cap realization. Satish is best known within the industry for his expertise and intuitive understanding of successfully integrating technology solutions within a practice as well as throughout an organization.

Benjamin S. Chudner, OD, FAAO

Dr. Chudner began his impressive optometric career more than 21 years ago. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry and completed a residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. After working for a large OD/MD practice in the Pacific Northwest, he acquired an independent Optometry practice in Bremerton, Washington where he built a successful practice and team before eventually selling the practice 10 years later. Since that time, he has spent over a decade in leadership roles in some of the most recognized organizations in the eyecare industry. Companies such as Bausch and Lomb and Luxottica have benefited from Dr Chudner’s extensive understanding of the complexities of the optical industry. Under his leadership as Senior Clinical Director, he streamlined eyecare operations and improved relationships with doctors affiliated with Luxottica resulting in tremendous eye exam growth year over year. Dr. Chudner is also an accomplished lecturer and trainer and an active member of several industry organizations including the AOA, AAO, and the New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Chudner is most recognized for his deep passion for full-scope optometry and building organizations that can deliver better outcomes for all patients and fellow optometrists.

Meera Dua

Meera began her impressive career in the optical world over 20 years ago, which spans both North American and international market experience. She started at Cole Vision Corporation and spent several years taking on various leadership roles with increasing levels of importance and responsibility. This ultimately resulted in her championing and directing all product strategy for Sears Optical, Target Optical and Pearle Vision. With the acquisition of Cole Vision by Luxottica, Meera continued to grow and diversify her experiences. She took on several high profile merchandising positions within Target Optical, LensCrafters, GMO, product development and also led category management for all optical divisions. Meera’s significant contributions have driven success for multiple businesses in profitability growth, improved product life cycle management and stronger store segmentation. Meera is highly respected within the industry and is well known for her motivating leadership style and tremendous depth of merchandising knowledge and expertise.

As SVP/ Group Vice President of Brand Marketing and Advertising at Frito Lay, she led the entire marketing team and a powerful portfolio of multi-billion dollar brands. Under Lora’s marketing leadership, Frito Lay transformed the health and wellness arena and built over a $1 billion dollar portfolio through consumer-centric innovation, advertising excellence, and a high impact retail presence. In addition to her Acuity role, Lora serves as an Operating Partner for Riata Capital Group. Lora is also the Co-Founder of Inspira Marketing Partners, a strategic marketing consulting firm that advises a variety of companies in the consumer packaged goods, consumer services and multi-site retail sectors. Lora is best known within the broader marketing world for her passion for building strong brands and talent, while always leading with collaboration and positive energy.

After several successful years, he was appointed President and Briot experienced record growth under Bret’s leadership. Bret also served as Vice President at American Express Business Finance. In this key role, he helped orchestrate financial solutions between equipment manufacturers and end users, enabling optometrists to access the latest technology at affordable rates. Prior to joining Acuity, Bret served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Vision Source, where he was an integral part of growing Vision Source into the largest independent eyecare alliance in the world and the top optical retailer in the United States. With almost two decades of eyecare experience and success, Bret is best known for having a strong pulse on the ever-changing landscape and future vision of the industry.

Under Shawn’s leadership as the Vice President of Operations, he helped orchestrate the turnaround of Target Optical by focusing on the organization’s culture and transforming it into one of the fastest growing optical companies for more than a decade. Shawn is also passionate about giving back to those in need and has led or been part of many North American and international eyecare clinics. Shawn is best known for his ability to align a team to create a sustained growth plan that’s customer-centric and builds top talent.

Brian brings with him 25 years of exceptional experience and strong results within the optical industry. He began his career at Luzerne Optical and also worked for Lens Lab while attending college. After graduation, he worked diligently as an ABO Certified Optician for Northeastern Eye Institute and then became a store manager, opening a LensCrafters store in 1997. Brian proceeded to spend the next 19 years with Luxottica and progressed through several key leadership roles and responsibilities within the organization. Brian contributed his talent and skills in a range of positions including Senior Manager of Operations for Pearle Vision, Director of Strategic Brand Development for LensCrafters, the Senior Director of Operations for Target Optical and also as a Regional Vice President for Target Optical. Most recently, Brian was the Vice President of Central and LensCrafters Manufacturing for North America. Brian is best known for his results-oriented leadership style and successful implementation of large scale organizational initiatives.

Most recently she served as the People Executive for HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines nine businesses known as the “Magnolia Companies”, an internationally renowned $100 million enterprise. Under Gin’s leadership, she aligned their team behind a people-driven strategy focused on key operating processes to support Magnolia’s ever changing landscape. Prior to that, Gin led the organizational development efforts at Heartland, a $35 million system owned by a subsidiary of Royal Dutch Shell. While at Heartland, Gin redesigned the Human Resources and Talent Department, reduced company headcount by over $4 million, improved team engagement and dramatically reduced turnover. Gin also led transformational change at Odyssey Healthcare, with over $1 billion in revenue. Gin is highly regarded as an innovator of customized people solutions that build world class talent, teamwork and growth.

Ron began his career in eyecare almost two decades ago as the Director of Optical Services for the Virginia Eye Institute as well as the Production Manager for Cole Vision/Luxottica Optical Manufacturing. In 2008, Ron joined First Look Optical Manufacturing and the organization experienced excellent productivity and growth under his manufacturing leadership. Over the past 8 years, First Look Optical has grown orders from 200 orders per day to over 700 orders per day. Ron also redesigned the lab for future growth, installing automation and redundant equipment manufacturing capability to support up to 1000 orders per day while also increasing productivity and reducing consumables. Ron is responsible for the strategic development and executive management of all optical manufacturing and productivity efforts and is a respected industry leader and key expert in his field.

Brian Bernholtz

Brian brings almost 15 years of experience in key financial leadership positions in both private and public companies with domestic and international operations ranging from $200 to $800 million in revenues. He began his career in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche where he advanced to the manager level. He then successfully progressed through several key finance roles including the position of Corporate Controller at Varel International Energy Services and later Unilin North America. Brian joined the Acuity team from Provista, a leading provider of group purchasing services for the non-acute healthcare industry, where he served as the Associate Vice President of Finance. Brian is best known for his extensive knowledge in financing transactions, deal structuring, and consolidation matters given his vast financial experience managing deal activities for multiple acquisitions and divestitures.

Matt began his successful career in the eyecare industry almost 30 years ago with the purchase of Crown Optical in 1990. At the time, Crown Optical was a single-office optometric practice located in Alton, Illinois. Under Matt’s leadership, that single location was re-branded Crown Vision Center and “Crown” has grown into an expansive, fully-integrated eyecare company. Today, Crown Vision Center includes 28 community eyecare centers, an ASC surgery center, an ophthalmology center, and a full-service wholesale optical lab. Prior to Crown, Matt spent 9 years in commercial banking, which provided an excellent financial foundation for his tenure at Crown. Matt is also very invested in community service efforts. He currently is the Chairman of St Louis ARCHS and a member of the BJC Hospital Foundation. He is also the co-founder of “Kids Vision for Life,” an organization in St. Louis that provides free eyecare services to children in need. Matt is best known for his successful track record of growth in the eyecare industry and his servant-leadership style of management.
