Eric Anderson

Eric has three decades of leadership success in a variety of businesses including Optical, Accessories and Consumer Packaged Goods, in both domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Acuity, Eric served as Executive Vice President – Fossil Group, leading their $3 Billion Global Licensed Watch and Jewelry business. In this capacity, he was accountable for all business development, licensing, marketing, product design and product development. Prior to that, Eric spent 18 years at the Luxottica Group in key leadership positions including the President of LensCrafters North America where he had full P&L responsibility for the world’s leading Optical retail chain with 1,000 stores in the U.S. and Canada. Under his collaborative leadership, Eric transformed their business strategy, customer experience and management team philosophy resulting in significant growth in associate engagement, customer satisfaction and comp store sales. Additionally, while at Luxottica, Eric was Chief Executive of GMO Opticas based in Santiago, Chile, integrating 500 stores in Chile, Peru, Ecuador and Columbia into Luxottica. He also had successful leadership roles as the General Manager of Target Optical, VP at Pearle Vision, VP at Sunglass Hut and helped lead the integration of Ray Ban into Luxottica. Prior to Luxottica, Eric spent nearly a decade in Brand Management at Procter & Gamble and Kao.   Eric is highly respected within the industry and well-known for his results-oriented leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for developing talent.

Johnny Bond

Johnny brings over 30 years of multi-site healthcare experience spanning a broad range of cross-functional leadership roles including operations, acquisitions and development, patient experience, clinical quality, service lines strategy, investor relations, administration, finance and treasury. Most recently, Johnny consulted with the Private Equity firm of Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe, advising them in their healthcare portfolio. Prior to that, he spent over 20 years at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. (USPI) driving growth from start-up to their industry leadership position as the largest operator of outpatient centers and surgically-oriented hospitals. Prior to USPI, Johnny held Senior Vice-President positions for over a decade in two other start-up companies: Physicians Resource Group, Inc. and Medical Care America, Inc. Upon the sale of Medical Care, he transitioned as the SVP of Operations, Ambulatory Surgery Division, and was responsible for the operations of 25 surgical facilities. Johnny is best known and respected within the industry as a motivating leader who consistently delivers results through operational excellence.

John brings with him 25 years of impressive financial experience and over 15 years of expertise in the role of Chief Financial Officer across both publicly traded and private equity held high growth organizations. Most recently, John was a CFO of Jordan Health Services and had the responsibility of closing and integrating four new acquisitions, adding $100 Million in revenues, while also facilitating the sale of the company in less than a year. Prior to his CFO role at Jordan Health Services, he served for nine years as the CFO for BSN Sports and later Varsity Brands. As the #1 leader of school sport, spirit and achievement apparel and gear, Varsity Brands consists of three companies including BSN Sports, Varsity Spirit and Herff Jones. In this critical CFO role, he was instrumental in driving revenue growth from $200 Million to $1.6 Billion over the course of his tenure there. John is highly respected for his extensive knowledge in corporate finance and capital markets, acquisitions and divestitures, and his public and private equity transaction experience.

Meera Dua

Meera began her impressive career in the optical world over 20 years ago, which spans both North American and international market experience. She started at Cole Vision Corporation and spent several years taking on various leadership roles with increasing levels of importance and responsibility. This ultimately resulted in her championing and directing all product strategy for Sears Optical, Target Optical and Pearle Vision. With the acquisition of Cole Vision by Luxottica, Meera continued to grow and diversify her experiences. She took on several high profile merchandising positions within Target Optical, LensCrafters, GMO, product development and also led category management for all optical divisions. Meera’s significant contributions have driven success for multiple businesses in profitability growth, improved product life cycle management and stronger store segmentation. Meera is highly respected within the industry and is well known for her motivating leadership style and tremendous depth of merchandising knowledge and expertise.

Under Lora’s marketing leadership, Frito Lay transformed the health and wellness arena and built over a $1 billion dollar portfolio through consumer-centric innovation, advertising excellence, and a high impact retail presence. In addition to her Acuity role, Lora serves as an Operating Partner for Riata Capital Group. Lora is also the Co-Founder of Inspira Marketing Partners, a strategic marketing consulting firm that advises a variety of companies in the consumer packaged goods, consumer services and multi-site retail sectors. Lora is best known within the broader marketing world for her passion for building strong brands and talent, while always leading with collaboration and positive energy.

Joseph Terzo

While at Credit Suisse, Joe and team were repeatedly recognized by Barrons as one of the country’s leading financial advisors. Prior to Credit Suisse, he served in the corporate finance function of Baxter International, an acute healthcare products company with over $10 billion in annual revenue. Joe is highly regarded within the industry for his collaborative ability to drive organizational alignment in support of key growth initiatives.

Benjamin S. Chudner, OD, FAAO

Dr. Chudner began his impressive optometric career more than 21 years ago. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry and completed a residency at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. After working for a large OD/MD practice in the Pacific Northwest, he acquired an independent Optometry practice in Bremerton, Washington where he built a successful practice and team before eventually selling the practice 10 years later. Since that time, he has spent over a decade in leadership roles in some of the most recognized organizations in the eyecare industry. Companies such as Bausch and Lomb and Luxottica have benefited from Dr Chudner’s extensive understanding of the complexities of the optical industry. Under his leadership as Senior Clinical Director, he streamlined eyecare operations and improved relationships with doctors affiliated with Luxottica resulting in tremendous eye exam growth year over year. Dr. Chudner is also an accomplished lecturer and trainer and an active member of several industry organizations including the AOA, AAO, and the New York State Optometric Association. Dr. Chudner is most recognized for his deep passion for full-scope optometry and building organizations that can deliver better outcomes for all patients and fellow optometrists.

Prior to joining Acuity, Bret served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Vision Source, where he was an integral part of growing Vision Source into the largest independent eyecare alliance in the world and the top optical retailer in the United States. With almost two decades of eyecare experience and success, Bret is best known for having a strong pulse on the ever-changing landscape and future vision of the industry.

In addition to creating her own HR consulting firm specializing in Organization Effectiveness, Tonjia most recently was Vice President, Global Human Resources for the network intelligence company Sandvine. Prior to that, she served as VP of Human Resources for Integer Holdings where she led various HR functions and drove major change initiatives involving organizational design, compensation, recruitment, project and stakeholder management, and culture change. While at Integer, she had HR responsibility during the creation and spin off of Nuvectra Corporation. Her extensive experience also includes roles of leadership with Smith & Nephew, Bank of America, and GE. Brian brings with him 25 years of exceptional experience and strong results within the optical industry. He began his career at Luzerne Optical and also worked for Lens Lab while attending college. After graduation, he worked diligently as an ABO Certified Optician for Northeastern Eye Institute and then became a store manager, opening a LensCrafters store in 1997. Brian proceeded to spend the next 19 years with Luxottica and progressed through several key leadership roles and responsibilities within the organization. Brian contributed his talent and skills in a range of positions including Senior Manager of Operations for Pearle Vision, Director of Strategic Brand Development for LensCrafters, the Senior Director of Operations for Target Optical and also as a Regional Vice President for Target Optical. Most recently, Brian was the Vice President of Central and LensCrafters Manufacturing for North America. Brian is best known for his results-oriented leadership style and successful implementation of large scale organizational initiatives.

John DeLuna

Most recently, John served as Vice President and Director of Marketing for the eyewear divisions of Walman, the largest family of independent optical companies in the United States. In this role, John led all aspects of marketing support for large-scale accounts including Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club and Eyemart Express, as well as full-scale marketing efforts for independent eye care professionals across the county. Prior to his role with Walman, John was a Creative Project Manager with JCPenney where he was an active designer and copyeditor as well as a proven leader of creative teams responsible for supporting the in-store marketing in over 1,000 stores nationwide. John is highly respected in the optical industry for his blend of retail and optical experience, his unique understanding of the marketplace, and his passion for patient-focused marketing.

Ron began his career in eyecare almost two decades ago as the Director of Optical Services for the Virginia Eye Institute as well as the Production Manager for Cole Vision/Luxottica Optical Manufacturing. In 2008, Ron joined First Look Optical Manufacturing and the organization experienced excellent productivity and growth under his manufacturing leadership. Over the past 8 years, First Look Optical has grown orders from 200 orders per day to over 700 orders per day. Ron also redesigned the lab for future growth, installing automation and redundant equipment manufacturing capability to support up to 1000 orders per day while also increasing productivity and reducing consumables. Ron is responsible for the strategic development and executive management of all optical manufacturing and productivity efforts and is a respected industry leader and key expert in his field.

Mark Robinski

Mark began his optical journey in 1986 when he joined Pearle Vision Centers, initially as a lab tech trainee. Over the course of his impressive 30 year career, he has held several roles of increasing responsibility including Regional Quality Coordinator, Regional Director of Operations, Director of Quality Assurance and Regional Vice President to name a few.  As a result of his diverse experiences, Mark has a deep understanding of the optical industry from both a lab and retail operations standpoint. Mark is also very committed to leveraging his skills to improve the lives of others. He served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Metropolitan Society for the Prevention of Blindness while working in the Washington D.C. market, and was the Luxottica corporate representative to the White House Points of Light Foundation. This provided the platform for his direct involvement in every Gift of Sight mission in his local area. Mark is best known for his strong focus on people and his proven track record of developing teams while consistently delivering results.
